How do I know which type and rating of lamp to fit?
All IBL luminaires have the lamp information displayed on a label that is clearly visible when proceeding to install/replace the lamp.

Are Fusion 230 recessed downlights suitable for both GU10 and GZ10 lamps?
Fusion 230 recessed downlights are only suitable for use with GU10 lamps.
GU10 lamps have an aluminium coated reflector which reflects the heat from the lamp filament downwards, away from the recess. GZ10 lamps have a dichroic reflector which allows the heat to pass backwards into the recess. This results in high lamp, ceiling void, and mounting surface temperatures. IBL Fusion 230 downlighters have a dedicated GU10 lampholder that will not accept a GZ10 lamp.
